The Challenge

A high-throughput metal components factory near Brno was running two daily cleaning shifts with a Commercial Floor Scrubber J45 to keep three production halls (total 8 400 m²) compliant with internal 5S and customer audit standards. At 60% of rated capacity (realistic for obstacles, aisle turns and operator breaks), the J45 effectively cleans about 1260 m²/h. Over one 8-hour shift this equals roughly 10 080 m²/day, but in practice the factory had to split work across two shifts to avoid interfering with production changeovers. While the J45’s 3–4 h runtime suits retail and smaller sites, its tank volume and industrial robustness limited it as the sole machine for heavy-duty factory cleaning.

The Industrial Floor Scrubber J85 steps up to 3550 m²/h working efficiency with the same 510 mm cleaning width but a wider 860 mm squeegee for faster water recovery. Its 85 L solution tank and 90 L recovery tank are almost double the J45’s capacity, drastically cutting refill and dump stops.

At 60% of rated capacity, the J85 delivers around 2130 m²/h, enabling about 17 040 m² of real cleaning per 8-hour shift. This comfortably covers the factory’s 8 400 m² existing area plus the new hall with margin for spot cleaning. For high-throughput factories, the Industrial Floor Scrubber J85 is the clear choice, converting a modest extra purchase cost into rapid labor savings and higher cleaning reliability.
