Powered flexible roller conveyor

This is a powered flexible roller conveyor: a concertina frame whose rollers are driven by a motor, pulled out to the length needed and bent into curves.

It comes in two lengths, 4 m and 6 m, is 550 mm wide and is set between 650 and 800 mm high.

The conveyor is used in warehouses, distribution centers, e-commerce fulfilment, manufacturing plants, logistics hubs and retail backrooms. It connects packing or assembly lines and moves cartons or packages between workstations, for example from inbound pallets to storage, from picking stations to packing, or from finished goods areas to outbound shipping. It suits cartons, boxes, crates and similar packages that are stable enough for powered roller transport, and its flexibility lets it serve several tasks in a shift where routes or layouts change.

Operators roll the conveyor to the desired location, pull it out to the needed length and shape, and set the height before plugging it into a standard 220 V socket. The speed is adjusted on the control box to suit the type of cartons being moved—slower for tall or light items, faster for steady, flat-bottomed ones. After use, the conveyor is switched off, pushed together, and rolled aside, ready for the next task. The operator is responsible for keeping the rollers and belts free of dirt and strap ends, ensuring the conveyor stands level across its width, and keeping the power cable clear of the frame during adjustment.

The rollers carry the cartons at up to 15 m/min, set on the control box; the load capacity is 50 kg.

It runs on single-phase 220 V, 50 Hz, with 1 kW, and stands on castors, so it goes where cartons are loaded, unloaded or packed.

How it is used

1. Roll the conveyor to where it is needed and pull it out to the length and curve of the route.
2. Set the height between 650 and 800 mm.
3. Plug it into a 220 V socket and switch it on at the control box.
4. Set the speed and lay the cartons on the rollers.
5. After work, switch it off, push it together and roll it aside.

Keep hands clear of moving rollers, and do not use the conveyor for loose or unstable items that may fall between rollers.

Use and care

• Load. Keep within the load capacity of 50 kg.
• Speed. Slower for tall or light cartons, faster for steady, flat-bottomed ones.
• Standing firm. Set it level across its width before use.
• Cables. Keep the power cable clear of the frame when it is pulled out or pushed together.
• Care. Keep the rollers and belts free of dirt and strap ends so they run freely.
